It seems like most Presidents get 1 or 2 PER TERM. I can't find in modern history a President who got three in a single term.

In fact, for some reason, it is the number-one search on Google today.

Washington appointed 12 justices, and FDR and Tyler are tied for second with nine each.

Looks like it isn't correct. Mr Tyler successfully appointed only one USSC judge, but had four nominees rejected. (He apparently held the record for most Senate rejections of cabinet nominees and other appointments rejected). Two of the nominees were rejected several times. So, nine "attempts" to appoint a justice, for two vacancies that occurred during his term (the second left unfilled).
Mr Tyler also had unprecedented turnover in his Cabinet: I see he had 21 men holding only 6 Cabinet posts in four years. I think Mr Trump has broken that record.
