Biden & a Democratic Congress should just ignore the Supreme Court

If they pass something ridiculous or strike a good thing down, ignore them; if TrumpConnell get their blood appointee, it’s clearly not a functional branch of the judiciary and should therefore be treated as the clown show it will have become. What are they going to do? Send Samuel Alito around to enforce their rulings? Come on!

If Trump has shown anything, it’s that you absolutely can break traditions and norms with little consequence as long as you hold power; it’s all very well saying “...but the law!!” when the other side thinks you’re a moron for following it. The GOP will accuse Biden of being a power hungry, executive order toting maniac if he spends four years doing absolutely nothing, so he might as well seek to enrich lives and heal a country regardless of what a fake court says.

posted in a while. But -- we're going through one of those pressure points when things boil up -- and over. So -- you're forgiven. Come back tomorrow and give us another opinion -- where you're not suggestion that the Supreme Court become an irrelevancy.

Trump continues to be the focal point and not the courts.

6. Actually it is Legal for the President and Congress to enforce or not

enforce court rulings as they see fit. Some would have us submit to USSC rulings while
it destroys the Nation simply because of tradition and "law". Slavery was not ended by
obeying and enforcing the edicts of the USSC. Same with much of the Labor movement
and much of what FDR and his Congress accomplished.

I wonder how many history or civics teachers out there are advancing the theory that Supreme Court rulings are completely optional? (kinda' like wearing masks?)
