Illinois Holocaust Museum's 'Notorious RBG' exhibit could serve as memorial for the late Ruth Bader
The Ruth Bader Ginsburg exhibition at the Illinois Holocaust Museum is likely to transform from a tribute to a memorial in the coming days, as Illinoisans take advantage of the local opportunity to spend time with the late Supreme Court justices story and personal effects.
On Saturday, however, the day after Ginsburg died from pancreatic cancer complications, the Skokie museum will be closed in observance of the Rosh Hashanah high holiday.
But for the rest of the exhibitions run, currently scheduled through Jan. 3, tickets are available via the holocaust museum website and are included in the $15 general admission.
Demand for the Notorious RBG show, which I reviewed (favorably), when it opened in February, is expected to be high and compounded by the museum limiting attendance and opening hours due to COVID-19 restrictions. New, post-COVID hours see the museum only open Wednesdays-Sundays, and it will also close Sept. 28 for Yom Kippur.
