And so it begins
And what say the AG? And the president? This is America. Unfuckingbelievable.
In a preview of the chaos and voter intimidation that could erupt on election day itself, MAGA-hatted supporters of Donald Trump launched a protest outside an early voting polling place in Fairfax, Virginia this morning.
Anthony Tilghman, an award-winning filmmaker and photographer, was on the scene and posted videos of the Trump supporters illegal interference in the electoral process by blocking access to the polling place and intimidating any voters who did not share their enthusiasm for the failed Trump presidency.
Its uncertain if any potential voters turned away after encountering the demonstration or if any declined to risk the increased chances of exposure to the COVID-19 virus when voters were forced to move to the confined spaces inside the polling place to wait to while avoiding the mostly maskless demonstrators.
Tilghman posted additional footage of the MAGA protestors impeding access to the polls, as well as an update about the dissolution of the demonstration once additional security was brought to the scene to break up the illegal electioneering and voter intimidation.
866-OUR-VOTE is the number to call anywhere in the US to report election interference.
