What does "without delay" mean?

Does that mean tomorrow? Or Monday? Or sometime next week?

Or when Mitch McConnell has the votes lined up?

If the process goes beyond a week, it will begin to look like it has been "delayed". It will look like Mitch and Donald do not have the votes.

Surely there are at least 4 Republicans with a spine?

What is her judicial record, and what qualifies her for a lifetime appointment to the highest court in the land? Our Dem Senators have to work with Joni Ehrnst, ffs, and do you think they can’t see what she is?

Don’t be fooled. If she’s been put forward by McConnell, she is hard-right. She’ll be against Roe v Wade, which hangs by a thread. She’ll think the ACA is an undue burden on taxpayers. Check to see if he put her on the Federal bench in the first place — he is responsible for at least 400 such appointments, all right wing as hell. Is she in the Federalist Society, like Kavanaugh?
