Don't you think election 2020 is going to be decided by the USSC?

Ala 20 years ago in 2000. Trump has already indicated he will use the courts to stop the counts just like Florida when Gore won Florida but the court stopped the counting because of time constraints and the fact that the inauguration had to be January 20, 2001.

I think the in-person vote together with the early vote that already will have been counted will be so overwhelming the remainder of the mail-ins won’t matter. At least I’m hopeful. This is why I plan to put on my mask and latex gloves and go to the polling place. My wife volunteered as a pollworker.

Trump will surely try and disrupt the counting and certification process, but I don’t think he will prevail in court. Barr’s DOJ May try some jackbooted tactics, but I think the Governors and Secretaries of State will prevail.

I think Biden’s popular vote margin will be 5-8%, and he will get 290-330 EV’s.

We should know the outcome for FL election night; if Biden takes it, it’s over for Trump, If not, we may have to wait a week or two for the rust belt states to finish counting.

Such as:

Biden is a pedophile.

Biden is getting injections of drugs into his ass.

Biden is responsible for the poor response to the C-19 Pandemic.

Biden is responsible for the social unrest during his presidency.

But don't forget my favorite which is, Winston Churchill stood on top of buildings in London during the German Air Raids
in WW II giving speeches.

BTW the designer/LA for that garden was one of the best, the man who oversaw the
construction of the garden went on to be one of the top persons @ the Brooklyn Botanical
Garden, and the crews who installed the garden were very good too. Less then 2 weeks
after "they were done" with Melania's (I doubt this was her idea) new garden they were
back redoing the drainage. I have no doubt that when they installed Jackie's Garden,
they had drainage designed into the system .... my bet it was clay drain tiles .... and the
shit bag landscaping crew that put in the new garden broke the old (still working) drainage
system.

you were looking down from an upstairs window? Then you could see the pattern of the plant placement. Straight on at ground level it was just boring...So not only was it unnecessary to do the work, they lost the whole point of what the space was designed to be used for...

When he is gone I predict a world-wide block party - followed by a good night's sleep for most of us - for the first time in years.

.... the outdoor walkway from the President's residence to the west wing. The Columns made up
part of that sun shadow interplay but the flowering crabs did too.

"Straight on at ground level it was just boring" Sure where is the vertical element?

I know Jackie's rose garden is small potatoes in comparison to the hell scape of >200,000
dead from C-19 but "they" cut out roses whose lines went back over 100 years and replace
them with crap.

* They might not have been the original roses but they could have been from cuttings
and or grafts to keep the "line going." I doubt that they saved those roses even if they
wanted too.

Again "Trump's work" on Jackie's Garden was just done out of spite.

and voter fraud, that the have been promising would happen all year, that it will go to the courts. They have been setting this up all year..... I don't think that they will respect a ten point loss, and I don't think that we will have a ten point lead. They are not going to give up power without a crooked, dirty fight. What would remain to be seen is if the SC would go along, maybe enough of them have enough decency to not give up the Republic for Donald Trump. But, who knows?

We are not in a normal election cycle. We don't have a normal Senate or a normal President. The Republicans have nothing left to lose. They know that if they lose, there is a reckoning coming. They have already abandoned truth, self respect, ethics, and morals, and have little respect for the Constitution or the laws of the land. They will go all in, and they will bring in the armed street mobs, if needed. Chaos is the friend of the Fascist. Don't underestimate how crooked these Republicans are.

ballot coming, but I’m thinking of voting in person. I’m in PA and I don’t like all this deadline litigation and discussion about counting days after Election Day. I’m not sure why they can’t make deadlines that allow the Counting to be done by the time the polls close. I have volunteered to be a poll worker, so we’ll see about that.

I suspect their preferred “legal” play is to get the election kicked to the House under the 12th Amendment. Many and much more partisan hacks at the state and local level, so perhaps they’ll create such a muddied situation in a number of states to where the SC is convinced that would be the least bad option. I wouldn’t expect anything a la 2000. They shutdown a recount, not an initial one. Hard to see SC excluding valid, on-time mail-in ballots and whatnot.

However, this is all predicated on Drumpf & Co. having a modicum of patience and not using DOJ/DHS and/or his supporters to violently suppress post-Election Day counting, so... there’s that.

In some places, like MN, mail-in ballots are counted before election day, as long as they get in early enough.

Vote early, whether in person or by mail.

It's not a question of can he cheat but will we (continue to) let him get away with it?

Another stolen election needs to be our red line: No faux swearing-in ceremonies, no more assisting the gop with putting lipstick on a fried pig! Blue State governors and mayors would need to collaborate on how to start the process of forming our own s***.

If rules do not apply to the GOP, they don't apply to anyone.
