The presidents campaign is placing more importance on Pennsylvania amid growing concern that his chances of clinching Wisconsin are slipping, Trump campaign sources tell Axios.
Pennsylvania, which has 20 electoral votes, twice Wisconsins number, actually has been trending higher in recent public and internal polling, a welcome development for the campaign.
Said one Trump adviser: We used to think Pennsylvania would be harder to secure and Wisconsin was in the bag. Now its vice versa,
The FiveThirtyEight polling average shows Joe Biden with a 4.6 percentage point lead in Pennsylvania.

(3,542 posts)I'm in a very red part of the state as I have said before. I am about 10-12 miles from Hershey, so that will give you where I'm talking about. Anyway, 2016 there were a**hole yard signs everywhere, now I've only seen 2 yard signs, however, where I only saw very few signs for Hillary, I am happy to say lots of Biden/Harris signs. I really think PA will go to Biden.

(31,261 posts)In 2016, I couldnt drive anywhere without seeing several. Either those people from 2016 will vote for him and are ashamed to admit it, or they are not happy with him. Hillary didnt do badly here in 2016, even though she put no effort into this area of Florida. In the recent primary on the republican side, when I looked up their results and compared them to campaign posters that I had seen of theirs, it looks like the moderate candidates all won, none that I would have identified as conservative gained a position on the November ballot, two moderates won office outright without a runoff, two moderate school board aspirants will face off in November after eliminating the most conservative candidate.

(43,049 posts)R state and local candidates, those same lawns are lacking Trump signs.
That may mean they just may not vote for Prez. I doubt they'll vote for Biden.

(7,722 posts)Middle of the state, remote, hunting area, mountainous. We didn't see any Trump signs till we got closer to that remote area but many more houses had no signs. I was surprised, thought it would be heavier signage like some of the further-outskirts of Montgomery and Bucks Counties into Lehigh and Lancaster Counties we saw in 2016.
We spied a couple of Biden signs but I had the feeling a great many of the non-sign houses were Biden voters keeping their cards close to their vest.

Their signs get stolen, many intimidated out of concern for their animals or dogs getting poisoned. Nonetheless many DO proudly display their support for Biden, and numerous banners and signs at that, a response to the over-the-top Trump displays. I live just into Montgomery County outside of Philly, very blue, though I hear of broken windows and stolen signs. Folks here are absolutely furious how Trump handled the pandemic, trapped us in our homes for months, shredded the economy.
Anyone live in Scranton/Lackawanna County that can give a report of signs/the general feel of the area?
