Today, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted that she will be voting early in person.
I applaud her for doing this. She must see that the post office has been badly sabotaged by Louis DeJoy.
Anyone who is not immunocompromised should also mask up and vote early in person, if the opportunity is available.
Trumps supporters are voting in person. We cant afford to have our mail in ballots rejected due to late delivery or mismatched signatures.

(25,816 posts)And they really can vote in person, although I understand why they'd feel safer with a mail in ballot.
Personally, I will be voting early in person. I live in New Mexico and we have an amazing early voting system. I had at first thought I'd get an absentee ballot, but decided that we have such good early voting, that I'll do it that way. I'll head off to one of my two nearby early voting locations the first day. If there are more people there than I feel comfortable with, I'll go to the other location. I can keep on going to those until I'm happy with the lines.
However, I'll probably vote that first day, as people here are all wearing masks and observing social distancing. One of the reasons we have relatively low infection numbers.

(6,137 posts)I just watched Stacey Abrams film - All In, what really seems to be crucial it to check you registration status, sometime multiple times leading up to election. GOP figured a way to systematically and surgically removing dem voters from the rolls, by the millions. And then its too late to register.
