According to Mitch and some of his cronies, there was some fine print in "The people have a right to choose the person that will fill the latest SCOTUS seat in an election year" that added the caveat only if the president and the Senate are representing different parties. They just forgot to mention that.

(1,261 posts)But I can't speak for everyone. I've talk to some folks that really expected the GOP to stand by the precedent they established with their action towards Obama's nomination.
