Wasn't it mentioned somewhere at some time that being female is considered preexisting condition? Doreen Sep 2020 #8

Because women - a LOT of them - were likely to become pregnant. And that would cut into insurance companies very big profits.

I care about statistics as much as anyone, but I can't afford to pay any more than I'm already paying. If I get sick, I'll stay home, isolate myself and assume it's covid. No testing for me.

Just the threat is chilling

It's scary that chaos has this effect, but it does. Only a Biden Administration can make this right. I realize I may be risking my life to save my finances (or my family's finances). I understand that early diagnosis may be the key to survival. I'm one of millions of Americans who are underinsured (high deductible plan) that discourages seeing a doctor. Last year, we paid over 50K in healthcare costs (19K for covered costs, premium plus deductible, and the rest for non-covered costs). I don't want to avoid the doctor, but I don't see how I can afford even higher premiums. This is reality.

On Sun 13 Sept I had to report to the hospital where I had a procedure done on Mon 14 Sept
No Exceptions ! !

They pulled 4 vials, which made 12 in a week

Why COVID

They said if they called me later Sun afternoon, it would be because of a positive
otherwise no news is good news for a negative.
