Please let everybody in PA make sure to use a secrecy envelope when sending back their ballot, or their vote will not be counted. Thousands of primary votes were thrown out by the state supreme court despite already being counted. This was thanks to the Trump campaign litigating them successfully. Expect the same type of efforts in November but multiplied.

I've mentioned here several times that when I voted absentee in August for the Florida primary there were several little stumbling blocks, but the one that stood out the most was potential to disregard that privacy envelope.

It does not stand out nearly enough. It reminded me of filler paperwork upon purchase of an electronic device.

11. We in OH had a sealable internal envelope on which we had to sign (for primary).

That envelope was then put into an external envelope for mailing back.
So rules differ from state to state.

4. Here was the paragraph from the PA Dept of State regarding this -

Once you have completed your ballot, fold and place it in a blank envelope and seal – this will be the Secrecy Envelope for the ballot. PLACE ONLY YOUR VOTED BALLOT IN THE SECRECY ENVELOPE AND DO NOT WRITE ON THE SECRECY ENVELOPE.

We voted on Saturday, and mailed out the ballots the same day. Followed the instructions exactly.

The instruction page was very clear and was the first page of the PDF with our absentee ballot.

On the top right of the form to use black ink.

Will ballot requests that were filled out with blue ink be denied??
