Wouldn't an openly stolen election be a coup d'etat?

And if so, wouldn't it be up to the military to detain those who perpetrated it and appoint the Speaker of the House as temporary president until a new election could be held?

This may sound like a crazy way of viewing things. But if Trump declares himself the winner on election night, and his hand picked SCOTUS backs him up, what else could you call it but a coup d'etat?

That’s exactly what happened in 2000. While it may stink to high heaven, it’s legitimate if the American people accept it as legitimate.

It’s been moving at a snail’s pace when compared to other coups but this is definitely one we’re living through.
