Putin, Trump, and the people who stayed home on Election Day 2016 are to blame for this.

There are undoubtedly forums out there where bashing the highly-respected RBG is accepted, and even encouraged. This is not one of them.

Maybe hang out in a forum with your own kind...

You're new, and you're bashing a liberal icon in the middle of an extremely messy election campaign.

I'm not obligated to believe that you're here with the best of intentions.

11. I'm sorry and you'll all be mad at me but...

All due respect, but she should have stepped down when Obama asked her to. If she had, we wouldn't be in this mess.

With all due respect, you are saying where we are now is all Justice Ginsberg's fault? Had she stepped down everyone would have joyously voted for our candidate. They would never have said "never Hillary" sat out the vote and told others to do so as well? They would never have thrown temper tantrums at our convention and booed icons like John Lewis because they were butt hurt their candidate did not win.

We are here because some people SAT OUT 2016. The most important elections of our lifetime, until now, yet they could not bring themselves to vote for that woman. They are the reason we are where we are today, 200K Americans dead a dying Democracy and a dead court because if you don't vote you get a con as 'resident. I put it squarely on their shoulders.

Do NOT put this on RBG's.

There is the hindsight-and-20/20-vision thing in operation here.

I'm with sheshe and others here who will not bash Ruth Bader Ginsburg or point the finger of blame on her. She served with honor and distinction, and towers over the history of the Supreme Court - now AND forevermore amen. Even in death.

We saw with what the CONS did to President Obama and his nominee, Merrick Garland. Does ANYONE think that Ol' Moscow and his merry band of trumpets would have been fair regarding her replacement back then? They did everything imaginable to hobble President Obama. To make his life miserable. To stand in his way. To keep him from getting more accomplished. And even now they're trying to undo his legacy and everything he DID get accomplished for the public good. Like the ACA, as only one example.

Do NOT put this on RBG. With all due respect, she didn't have a crystal ball to divine the the future any more than you do.

And if she had, Obama couldn't get in another justice like her even if he tried. Democrats play by rules that Republicans feel free to ignore. They would have fought the appointment of a justice like RBG tooth and nail.

And don't say you're sorry when you're not.

We need to heed her advice.

FIGHT.

Democracies don't come cheap, and I mean that in the best way possible.

Somewhere around 40% of our voting population would like to eliminate Democracy.

How do Democrats change this game? GOTV! Don't ever give up. It's a fight worth winning.
