One reason given why the Grand Jury didn't indict the three police officers executing a No-Knock Warrant was they were legally allowed to be in her home that night. That's debatable, but let's move on.
Her boyfriend had a legally registered gun and fired at the police in self defense of himself and Ms. Taylor. The Grand Jury also found that the police had legal cause to shoot their weapons, because they were being shot at.
So explain to me why the police were not indicted and Kenneth Walker wasn't. (The prosecutors dropped charges against Walker in May. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/22/us/Breonna-Taylor-Kenneth-Walker.html)
I see it as the Grand Jury had a mission to exculpate the police. If the prosecutor hadn't dropped the charges of Kenneth Walker, would he, instead, have been indicted? The Grand Jury essentially held that "Shit happens." Is that Justice?
My point: without a single indictment, nobody is held responsible for the death of Breonna Taylor.

(9,067 posts)That the police basically admitted there was wrong doing but it wasn't found to be criminal (with the exception of the Cop that was indicted). Hence the $12 million payout to the family.
on edit: I missed the rest of the show but I think he had people on talking about some things not adding up.
