Even a good lawyer couldn't put lipstick on those pigs, but a good lawyer wouldn't work for Trump anyhow.

Barr is evil, and he is doing his best for his evil client, but there is only so much that he can do.

McTurtle has loaded the judiciary with extreme RW ideologues, including the Supreme Court.

So you end up with RW court that makes political judgements then having an En Banc hearing to overturn that judgement.
For example, in the McGahn subpoena case, 2 of the 3 judges ruled that the House of Representative could not subpoena McGahn to testify, but it had to take an En Banc hearing to overturn that judgement.

The federal Circuit Courts can decide NOT to hear a case in En Banc, but luckily the DC Circuit Court choose to hear the case and rule against the WH/DOJ.

Soon there will be more RW nutjobs in the circuit courts that political judgements may never be overturned, thus becoming precedent.

This is what scares me.

all the shit he has pulled or tried to pull as the head of the DOJ you would think he would have been disbarred by now.

And Barr sets the Bible at the top of the hierarchy. That is how he gets around the establishment clause in the 1st Amendment. Since Barr was sent there by God he thinks he is right and everybody else is wrong. When he gets into a court room then, he gets slapped around.

Using pretty harsh language on claims made on behalf of the DOJ. When a judge has to state that part of the Defendants motion are "premised on a misunderstanding of the claims that Plaintiff asserts", the judge is saying in the nicest of terms "you have no case and its odd you would even try to make that argument as it doesn't follow the actual claim made by Plaintiff".

I'm not a big fan of judges dismissing cases. If there's a beef it belongs in court to be uncovered.
