how I feel about Murray. What an annoying piece of crap! Every role he plays makes me puke. The lounge lizard skit from SNL made me wish I had no ears or eyes.

because they can cut you down with sarcasm and irreverance. They're used to getting audiences on their side, and nothing goes over better than cutting down imperious dorks in suits.
Hitting them preemptively on their own turf negates that advantage.
