Masha Gessen on Chris Hayes now: while national polls look great for Biden (and we all know, they don't really matter..), the electoral college not so much.

Anyone have info to fill this in?

Biden is ahead is the battleground states and even leads or competitive in many red states.

That does not mean, however, the Electoral College does not look great.

It looks good. Could look better. Especially with the national polls. But it's not bad - definitely stronger than Hillary four years ago.

A 7% margin means 99% odds of winning the EC.

Trump does have a built in EC advantage, but the polls are showing he’s losing.
