Let me get this straight: Trump will sign an EO that gives insurance to pre-existing conditions

1. which already exists in the Affordable Care Act, and

2. which will go away if the ACA is nullified by the USSC with 2-3 Justices that Trump put on it, and

3. which means nothing when Joe Biden is elected, because it is an EO.

As an executive order I don't see how it's enforceable Buckeyeblue Sep 2020 #2
And he has no jurisdiction, so it is, like everything else he does, total bullshit. Squinch Sep 2020 #3
It sucks that trees die for this maroon to sign meaningless proclamations. ResistantAmerican17 Sep 2020 #4

After the election, and he'll tell his followers he's for it for pre election promotion only. He's deceiving voters by doing this intentionally. He may even have Barr temporarily drop the case as another ploy to only bring it up again after he gets their votes. You can't trust a serial liar and con man for anything he promises or claims he'll do , and has done this many, many times in business to banks and business people to screw them over later with.

I thought executive orders only applied to the government. Or items attached to government spending.

And how can he argue that ACA is unconstitutional but attempt to create an EO that covers one of ACA's major tennants.

And as I have been asking Republicans for years, if you like the coverage for pre-existing conditions and the coverage for children up to age 26, why didn't you ever introduce legislation mandating these two items? Democrats would have gladly supported such measures.

Republicans don't want affordable health care for all. Any suggestion that they do is a lie. They've had their chances to put forth ideas...and they have put forth nothing. Ever.

He would make some excuse about how it can't carry through until Congress does something else.
Then. You have no pre-existing coverage due to Congress !
