Part of it is definitely going behind the plexiglass shield, and may be connected to the touchscreen or card reader on the customer side of it. Or maybe two wires: one to a touchscreen, another to a card reader just out of the shot to the left.

I'm nowhere near that particular place, but I've seen similar setups.

The pistols look a little more functional than just props. The top two and the bottom two seem to have matching magazines on his belt.

I fed the image to google image search and it suggested "Airsoft gun" ... which seems to fit. Someone into the hobby could likely confirm/refute.

But my vote is that they're BB guns and the guy has been out shooting at his friends.
