2. I'm well aware. I live in Silicon Valley and know a few Facebook Employees who don't do FB.

They hate wat FB is doing. But the money is too good. They’ve tried to recruit me but I wouldn’t ever consider. My former boss went there a few months ago. He thinks they will eventually do the right thing. Says the rank and file there hates it. Of course they tend to be younger so there’s that. It’s just funny how triggered and defensive FB users get when their complicity is pointed out.

I saw this column when it was published in July. It is TERRIFIC!

And the author, whom I have followed for years, has been going after the links between Brexit with Farage, Boris Johnson, Cunningham, Cambridge Analytica, the Mercer’s, the Russians, and - THE GOP!

The author concludes:

”America, the idea of America, is on the brink. ... And so the world is sick, because American capitalism has been the vector that has brought this infection across the globe. Algorithmically amplified “free speech” with no consequences. Lies spread at speed. Hate freely expressed, freely shared. Ethnic hatred, white supremacy, resurgent Nazism all spreading invisibly, by stealth beyond the naked eye.”

And by lies and hate she means the posts and emails that I get almost every damn day from the Reich-wing about BLM, voting, guns, ”Soshilism!!”, Kenosha, climate change, God and religion, schools, the media, etc. They are destroying this nation and will do the same to the world.
