"Belligerently Ignorant"

I heard and loved this phrase ages ago from friend who had a band called the Belligerent Brothers. He wasn't particularly belligerent himself, but I guess he liked the word.

"Willfully ignorant" just isn't up to the task any more. "Belligerently ignorant" is far more fitting for the all caps imbecile, Twitler, and his clueless combative cult.

Looks like it might be gaining in popularity, going by a google search and Urban Dictionary.

Urban Dictionary cites "bellignorant" as a portmanteau word from belligerent and ignorant.

And thanks for the update; willfully ignorant used to be my go-to, but it has escalated tremendously. Belligerently works.

But with their belligerent role model in the WH bringing out the worst in them, their belligerence has become too apparent to ignore. Especially all those RWNJs practically bursting a slew of blood vessels as they screech at a poc over pretty much nothing.
