General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI am impressed with Reddit's general political page
If you post a thread on the page it puts up a link on how to register to vote and voting information. The general politics page is very anti trump. This means that articles that are anti trump by the members get upvoted and while britebart and fox news articles are posted, they get downvoted so you can only find them if you look for the newest posts.

I know there are lots of ugly parts to reddit. But their general politics page is a great source of info. I would also say the Bernie people who post there are pretty much all supporting Biden. Bernie was very popular there in the primaries.

(9,067 posts)If you go to anything about politics or news, all the top posts are from a Lefty perspective.
I always sort by controversial. Its far more interesting, and you can often find more conversations and debates.
Reddit has this odd reputation as some sort of racist, misogynist, neckbeard paradise. Its not. It has those places, sure. But the top posts on All are overwhelmingly liberal like 95% of the time

(32,613 posts)It's fun and interesting, and the demographics skew youngish (well young than I), liberal, city-dwellers, mostly better-educated. I love that fact that people chime in from all over the world on
Reddit, but it's also local Pittsburgh/western PA people. Lots of good humor there, fun stuff - not mean and usually not crass.
For politics I still come to DU every day.
