Rose Garden needs a makeover.....

Looking at what they did to degrade the Rose Garden...Trump needs more chances to erase history. It is difficult to walk on grass with high heels so my guess is it will be replaced with concrete. The trees will be next.

Any other suggestions as to how this space will be downgraded?

THey've wrecked it completely. I don't think many know that they did such a poor job with the plumbing that the grass turned to mud and they had/have to bring in astrurf to cover the entire mess.

I think some pink flamingos would go well with the current Soviet-style drollness as a form of accent and contrast.

Maybe some tacky Tiki torches, (that old Fascist favorite) would also be a big hit?

are by landscape professionals who are very respectful of the history and tradition of this garden. The Trumps didn't have anything to say about it. That's all pretense.

Btw, this renovation is on a government site, with this design and all previous ones for the people to see. I love these old gardens and was very happy with what I saw. There was no degradation at all, and almost no one would guess any changes had been made. A drainage problem after unveiling? Shouldn't be, but oh, well. They'll fix it.
