I received my mail in ballot Saturday in Manatee County Florida

I emptied the envelope and decided I would finish voting Sunday morning. I filled out my ballot and read the instructions carefully. After filling out ballot I am supposed to put it in a security sleeve, then in the mailing envelope. Guess what? No security sleeve. Now I will have to call tomorrow and find out what to do. Florida residences be ware. I would never trust a Republican in Florida or any other place else.

In PA they are not going to count ballots if those ballots don't have security envelopes.
Who the hell knows what they are going to do in FL. And they mailed it out without security sleeve?

I got mine on Friday in Palm Beach. It was complete and I will drop it off as soon as the early voting ballot boxes at my local library open on October 19.

The good thing with some counties in Florida (not sure if it's all counties), you can request a mail-in ballot and still vote in-person. You will need to bring the ballot with you to be discarded when you're voting in person. If all else fails, you could go that route if it is available for you. Good luck.

We’re definitely starting to see the effect of Bloomberg’s extensive contributions in Florida. I’m seeing at least 10 Biden ads for every Trump ad on TV.

because if we win it then Trump has very little (if any) chance of winning the election. Biden has other paths to victory but Trump does not.

Filled out the ballot (taking care not to go outside the bubbles, just like not coloring outside the lines), double- and triple-checked it, went to put it in the security envelope, and... what the...?

It wasn't really an envelope. It was a folded over sheet of paper that said "OFFICIAL ABSENTEE BALLOT" on it. Nothing to seal, here. Not remotely secure, either.

So I got out my good ol' Dollar General tape, a spare sheet of paper, and taped the ballot in the ersatz "envelope", two strips of tape on each edge (the extra paper was to keep the ballot from accidentally sticking to the tape and getting torn). I put it in the mailing envelope, signed it, stamped it (we don't use prepaid return envelopes, and it always struck me as a kind of a poll tax, but I'm not going to quibble about it), crossed my fingers, and mailed it off.

I guess it was considered close enough for government work, because a few days later when I checked, the status showed "Accepted." Maybe they just thought I did an exceptionally good job of taping, but they took it.

I got my ballot for the General Election yesterday (Saturday). I opened it up, and this time everything was there -- including a real, genuine, honest-to-goodness ballot envelope with a gummed flap and everything. Today, I will once again step into the breech and risk a paper cut on my tongue for democracy.

Don't discard your ballot and bring it with you to the early voting place so they can mark it as unused and let you vote.

There's probably a youtube about that.

(Just kidding). Call your city/county clerk. Demand a sleeve; don't believe them if they say you don't need it.

Bring your envelope and all the contents to the election office and get what you need there and turn it in at the same time.

FL is truly fucked when it comes to counting all votes, they always find ways to not do that. Plus, Russia got in very deep into our voter database and could have actually changed votes or eliminated votes in 2016 and you can double that effort for this year. Voting early is safest, though repugs have dwindled those days down from 30 to 7 over the years, as a guarantee. Counties/cities can add extra days, but in most only a few days were added because most have repug mayors who don't want us to vote. Now DeathSentence has ensured a very active and high spike in sickness at election time, don't be surprised if polling places get closed and we may get litte/no notice. Early Voting is far safer and you can vote at any open polling place. We will do whatever it takes to vote early, we're bringing supplies in case the lines are long and will go downtown to the election office to vote there if necessary.
