He has crossed so many people, I'm sure many are working on retaliation right now. You can't screw over so many people, for so long and not have it come back and smack you in the ass. He should have gotten a clue with Michael Cohen, his niece Mary, John Bolton and so many more. He really is a slow learner.

He could have lived a raucous personal life under the radar, all the hookers he wanted, all the blow, all of it, but he wanted to be president. After all, how hard could it be? A black guy made it. (That's Trump talking, not me)

I would like to think that America is made of stronger stuff than Donnie Jackass Trump.

But then we learned just how totally bankrupt he was not just morally and financially, but cranially too.

He didn't expect to win. Okay. But stuff like this comes out during the race as well.

I think Pence was "pushed" on Trump, who was desperate for a running mate. Nobody was interested. Trump didn't care anymore about the name of the VP than the name of his Supreme Court nominees. Somebody hands him a list, and he throws a dart at it.

The question is why Pence? He was kind of picked out of left field. What is it about Pence that appealed to this cabal?

I think it’s as simple as that. Trump’s personal life probably gave no minor amount of them pause. Throw Pence in there, and it probably assuaged a lot of doubts, or at least gave a decent enough rationalization to pull the lever.

Pictures of him with sexually with minors? Homosexuality? Money taken?

Whatever it is, I have long believed it is why he was chosen....aside from his false piety.

The answer to this needs to be looked into and I believe if Pence was to be fully investigated (along with McConnell and many more) the answers would be shocking.

He never thought he’d win. He should have just said he was too rich and busy to accept it, but he couldn’t back down. Then he ran the presidency like one of his crooked other businesses and made many more enemies that he’d ever had before. It’s finally coming home to roost. Even getting Pence to pardon him isn’t going to clear all the charges that are coming. His fan club will stick by him for awhile but they aren’t enough to protect him.

Maybe some good will come of this and significant changes made to the tax code. That would be great if all his supporters of his ongoing grifting found themselves suffering a huge increase in taxes. It’s certainly due time.

I *think* this is what it means:
pinche: a scullery maid type worker, the lowest of the low work.
pendejo: literally (I believe): a pubic hair. (ahhh ... but you must take that in metaphoric context of the Mexican culture: what's important is the penis, the pubic hair here is pretending to be important because it's next to the penis, but we all know what's really important. Here, Michael Cohen in the day was a sort of pendejo.)
cabron: old (big) goat.

The NYT said they can't release the documents because they need to protect their source. Apparently the images of the documents would show where they came from.

My guess is they are Bates numbered and that numbering system reveals the entity that was holding them. It also narrows the group of individuals who had access to them and thus could have leaked them to the NYT. So it is quite probable their image literally endangers the source.

Yes, he had a big media presence in NYC, but he was also pretty much seen as an ongoing joke.

He was always mentioned in the gossip press, but putting himself under the scrutiny of the national political press - that is a horse of a very different color. It took them time to get all their ducks in a row, but it seems the chickens are coming home to roost. There is blood in the water. And I suspect there are more skeletons in that closet than we even think or know. Or at least it appears that way with the latest stories. The next month or so will tell how far that goes. Fingers crossed.
