I have seen several posts saying none of this tax stuff will matter but it's possible it could. If you look at 538's approval rating chart for Trump, in 2017 his approval rating got down to just below 37% and just two months ago, he was at 40%. He wavers between 37 and 44% so 7% of the country changes their mind about him from time to time. Maybe enough for a Biden landslide or at worst just make sure Biden wins.
So everything bad coming out on Trump is worth it regardless of what the naysayers say. It will do some damage and there are some undecided voters still out there.

(11,686 posts)They will work their asses off at keeping him in. It is not just our votes we are fighting for. It is the trolls and computer fraud to damage the votes for Biden. Maybe not as good as Biden but Hillary was ahead also until suddenly she lost. Same thing can happen with Biden due to trump cheating again.

The same stuff that took him down to 37% in late 2017 would never drop him that low right now. There was shock and disgust at that point. Now after three years of the public being conditioned to his behavior and language, the floor is not as low

(14,563 posts)On the mass conditioning point, and decades of hate framing the evil liberal boogyman, there is a face and name now unlike three years ago. They get to gin themselves up to how horrible Joe and Kamala are.
