2. You could easily apply the 80/20 rule

Some politicians may be corrupt, but 80% of those in their party aren't corrupt.

Whereas with republicans, 80% are corrupt and only maybe 20% are just willing participants or opportunists. The true evil, though, is with their supporters, who will support those 80% of corrupt republicans because they are narcissists who can't bear the fact that their whole world view is a lie, a sham.

Maybe they were and we just haven’t been told. Always seemed a little too convenient.

Deutche Bank has been about the only bank willing to lend to Trump for years now. Kennedy's kid was one of Trump's personal bankers.

Could it be that this is the work of CJ Roberts behind the scenes? I know it's a CT, but remember how invested that Roberts is in the legacy of his court. RBG has been ill for awhile. She surely told Roberts how serious it was if only as a courtesy to the CJ. Roberts probably knew there was a distinct possibility RBG would not survive out the year. He likely had a good idea of the judges Trump might nominate to replace her. Roberts has gone out of way to provide the 5th vote to keep the ACA and a few other things. With ACB on the court, all that he's tried to protect will be gone. Perhaps Roberts reached out to former justice Kennedy who then relayed the message to his son.
