DeSantis, a few days ago, lifted ALL restrictions on businesses (restaurants, bars, theme parks, etc) to be able to open at full capacity and no longer require masks
Thankfully, most businesses have common sense and aren't doing that but some have started to open fully. Right in time for the fall/winter flu season!

(9,263 posts)in their states. They are as clueless and in denial as they come. DeSantis is doing this as the state revenue stream is being choked off. Side note, lots of people who winter in Florida are cancelling their plans, including me and my wife. That income loss will be huge to the state and the local economies that depend on it

(46,682 posts)I only began to venture with take-out because of the facemask requirement. If I start seeing people walking around closed enclosures without masks, there's no way that I will even consider buying take-out.

The theme parks (and entertainment industry in general) directly and indirectly employ hundreds of thousands of people, many of whom are still furloughed or have been laid off.
