Check out the comments posted at the bottom of a fox news article about trump's tax returns

Most of the comments are critical of trump with an occasional apologist posting something. That’s gotta indicate something about the wavering support trump has from his right-leaning base, right?

Now, I just wonder if this will translate to lost votes for trump....

With normal thinking voters, they will be further outraged. A few "libertarian" "independents" will be delighted with this, but not that many IMHO.

thinking about their 2020 vote. This tax exposure might be moving more than a few from Trump to 3rd Party or not voting at all.

This isn't as much about President Dunce as it is about his whole putrid class, a class the Republicans have created and coddled over the last 51 years in exchange for kickbacks, donations, junkets, and 3 martini lunches with lobbyists.

"Strategic tax loss" is a concept I became familiar with when my dad died and left me a surprise. The financial guy was shocked when I said I'd rather pay the taxes because I got more for my money that way.

However, men with a lot more money than I have don't feel that way. They invest in things that will lose money in order to cut their tax bills. In Dumdum's case, he likes golf, so he thinks those losses are money well spent because those courses will be cleared when he wants to play golf there and it can be on less than a day's notice. He and his tax lawyers consider tax money a true loss, since it goes to things he might not think he needs and certainly doesn't enjoy.

Investment in their own country is seen as a waste of money. They won't ever pay taxes until they are forced to and that is the point people need to take away from this asshole's tax returns. It's high time they're forced to pony up.

That's the damned point, people.
