"Own the Libs" Is Gradually Morphing Into "Kill the Libs"

If you follow current news on protesters there are increasing accounts of cars hitting individuals, Proud Boy vigilantes and other attacks on our Constitution Right to Assembly. Story by SLATE directs some light on efforts to legally shackle protesters.

If Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis gets his way, people who merely attend a protest that results in property damage will be prosecuted for felonies. Yelling at someone in a restaurant as part of such a protest will be a criminal offense. And a driver who kills demonstrators with his car will not be liable for their deaths, as long as he is “fleeing for safety from a mob.”

It's an infringement on our right to peacefully protest without fearr of being killed. They are saying it is Heather Heyer's fault she is dead.

Defending the Florida election theft. If so she is being rewarded-there are several more already on the court.

But "Originalist" and "Textualist" Supremos will somehow argue that Corporations are People, money is speech and demonstrations are actually forms of violence and not Free Speech.

10. In legal terms, corporations ARE people

Here’s the deal: In American law, the only thing that can participate in the legal system is a person. An artificial entity like a “corporation” (whose very name is derived from the Latin word for body) can’t be forced to pay taxes, be sued, or required to follow any law. But declare them an “artificial person” and all those things apply.

The advantages of corporate personhood far outweigh all the drawbacks. Can you imagine if a non-person corporation were to tell its employees “since we don’t have to obey the law, the first one we’re going to not obey is the one that makes us pay you”?

Including rape trial nullification, copy-cat campaign using anti-DV campaign in Canada

White Ribbon Campaign - Copy cat - https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Paul_Elam

The White Ribbon Campaign was established in 1991 following the École Polytechnique massacreWikipedia enacted by antifeminist Marc Lépine, a mass-shooting which resulted in the death of 14 women, as a symbol of opposition to violence against women and solidarity between genders.[7]

In October 2014, Elam launched a copycat campaign under the domain WhiteRibbon.org in order to attack the existing campaign.[8][9] Aside from a few articles reposted from other websites, WhiteRibbon.org itself is pretty bare. That is to say, if you don't count the plea for donations in the top right corner of the page. According to Elam, "all donations for our White Ribbon effort will be used to maintain and enhance this website", which presumably means that they will go the same way as the rest of the A Voice for Men donations, rather than towards any substantial effort to support victims of any kind of violence.

Jury Nullification - https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Paul_Elam

Should I be called to sit on a jury for a rape trial, I vow publicly to vote not guilty, even in the face of overwhelming evidence that the charges are true. [....] Voting not guilty on any charge of rape is the only way to remain faithful to the concept of presumed innocence. And any participation in the system as it stands, other than with the intent to undermine it as much as possible, is taking part in the destruction of that sacred presumption.
If you are sitting on a jury hearing a case of rape, the only way to serve justice is to acquit.
Better a rapist would walk the streets than a system that merely mocks justice enslave another innocent man. And better a system that cannot be trusted as it is, be corrected from within by a single honest citizen in the name of real justice.

if Fox "News" and their "strong leader" ordered them to do so.

The USA is not as far away from such a disaster as many people would like to think.

And you end up with a population where some may not be well-suited dealing with challenges without violence for a cartoon-like quick (if not deadly) fix.
