IF The Feds don't make an example out of Trump, the IRS is going to catch hell collecting taxes

from people, especially from his base. I can foresee most of them trying to get away with what their dear leader does. Revenues for the next few years will be severely down and either cause Biden to have to cut those most needed social safety programs or raising taxes on those of us who still have jobs. Otherwise, the military, law enforcement, and all federal programs will have to be severely cut. That means our GDP will get whacked. Many people do not realize that cutting the feds will hurt their local economies more than they think. It's all a vicious circle that only the very wealthy escape.

I think they need to be reminded of the consequences of inaction against this KNOWN tax cheat.

I expect that the Treasury already loses close to $500B due to nonfiling, underreporting, and underpayment. I hope the first wave of blatant scofflaws is dealt with swiftly and efficiently.

Accused of something? Just say you didn't do it. Owe money? What money? Problem is regular working stiffs don't have the Attorney General running interference.
