I voted!

Got my absentee ballot in the mail (Texas) filled it out straight D and the postal carrier will have it tomorrow! Five weeks should be time to spare!

1. Early stories indicate ballots are arriving on time. Some have even reported

acceptance by election authorities on-line. Mine will be dropped off this week at county office.

Our votes are going to count, and trump will fall.

6. My county office mailed my ballot on Friday. It was in the mail that I picked up today.

2. Awesome! I got a call from a GOTV Dem the other night.

I cut him off, politely and told him no worries brother, I'm voting as I always do. I'll come down and help him out even. He was much appreciative, then thanked me, but I had to return the favor by thanking him for his efforts. We're all on the same team trying to save the country we love from the fascists.

3. Is there a way to track the ballot in Texas?

In Arkansas, the Secretary of State website will verify if the ballot has been received and will be counted. Surely, Texas is at least as up-to-date as Arkansas - right?

I got my on Saturday and dropped it off today! I am in Texas as well.

I called my election center and asked if they can tell me when they get it and they said I could call back and check in a week and they should be able to tell me if they have received my ballot.

I filled straight Dem as well, it is always a little disconcerting to see a lot of Judicial seats that only have Rethugs up for election, but they don't get anything from me, so there is that.
