other — Ernst by far the worst at this — she simply would not shut up. Moderator David Yepsen (a conservative) called both out on this, and on failing to answer the questions asked. Neither Could articulate specifics of what they would do on a given issue.

My view is that it was a weak performance by both, resulting in a tie. The only surprise was when Ernst came out against requiring the PO to fund its pension plan 75 years in advance.

IMHO: We'll pick up seats in CO. and AZ for sure. Probably pick up seats in ME and NC. Jones is going to lose in AL.
That scenario leaves the senate 50/50. Not good enough if we want to end the filabuster rule and expand the SC which I think is an absolute must.
