What person with an ounce of decency does not understand that THIS nomination by THIS person to replace THIS Justice at THIS time will forever taint any judge who accepts it?

I wonder if she ever considered why an immoral man that boasts about his immorality would chose her to be on the court?
I think it is a fair question to ask during confirmation hearings.

(11,285 posts)My best answer is a driven premium placed on self advancement -- and a zealot's belief in a religious and social agenda.
But, as you so accurately point out, an intelligent jurist has to be aware that the cost will come in almost certain terms of a tainted and jaundiced legacy. This person is zealous enough to ante up without flinching.
