Honestly it make me too nervous. I will watch the aftermath probably on CNN unless Santorum is on the panel. In that event it will be MSNBC.

(19,264 posts)I fully expect the moderator to allow Trump to break ever rule, not answer questions, going into rambling attacks, cutoff Biden, etc.
I give myself less than a 50/50 of making it to the end. If it was a Romney Biden debate I would be very interested in that. It would be two intelligent candidates with very different world views doing a real debate. I am not sure I can take 90 minutes of poop flinging by Dump while the moderator sits by and pretends "this" is a debate.

(23,061 posts)I probably won't watch much, I'm usually asleep by 10, but the anxiety might keep me up this time. My stomach hurts from the drumpf treachery, but I want to see if Biden can handle him and salt away the election.
Side note - I do have stomach issues and have 3 different pre-cancerous conditions which has been well controlled by medication and exercise before now. I have been doing great since I retired, but now my stomach is starting to hurt again so I know the stress of worrying about drumpfs traitorousness and destructiveness is getting to me. I need to see if I can get an appt. at GI and see if there's anything stronger I can use until after the election. Sad.
Nay
(12,051 posts)point. What can Trump say that means anything? And if Biden is going to be reaching across the aisle to these monsters, he's not going to be saying anything of importance, either.
I can read snippets of the debate here afterwards. I just don't need the aggravation of hearing it.

(43,153 posts)Biden will wipe the floor with Trump on all facts and substance. Just like Hillary did.
The one thing I know will happen is that Joe will at one point stumble over a word, and tomorrow morning all the usual suspects on social media will be playing a clip on a five second loop, and going, "OMGz!!! Biden has lost his mind! LOLz!!! Sleep Joe!"
But I'm not nervous of how Joe will actually do. He's going to kick Trump's orange ass two ways to Sunday.

Trump is totally alien to the concept of rational, open-minded discussion and exchange of ideas.
At its best, V.P. Biden may get to lay some good policy thoughts on the table.
