This year reminds me a little of 2006

For anyone who can't remember that pre-historic era, that was the year that Democrats took back the House after 12 years and narrowly won the Senate again. This year reminds me of that a little. In 2006, the country had grown sick of the Bush presidency, and was ready to take it out on the House.

If I recall correctly, pundits were predicting all year that Democrats would win the House, but the Senate wasn't even on the radar. That was the year that Jon Tester was first elected in Montana and Claire McCaskill won in Missouri. It was a pleasant surprise to wake up the next day with Dems winning back both houses!

May 2020 be even better!

I think we are taking the Senate . . . big. And I think Biden/Harris will win.

I'm not even worried about the 'what if Trump refuses to concede'.

Let's just be clear . . . Biden/Harris could have 350 Electoral Votes and a 20 Million vote lead in popular . . . and Trump won't concede.

We can figure that out after we have the House AND Senate and the new Senate is seated on January 4 (oath is on the 3rd).

This year just doesn't feel like 2004 where Bush seemed to be a pretty sure bet for re-election.
