Chris Wallace appreciation thread?

Question mark?

Look, I know we're not a big fan, he's a Fox boy, but he's more fair than most of the Fox crowd. He did the best anyone could do to corral Trump and his temper tantrums & tirades. Trump's antics have never been seen in a public before, it was so outside the norm of civility and decency.

Sometimes you play the bad hand you're dealt in the best way you can.

As Nicole Wallace said just now, this was an assault on the senses. An assault on the process.

What can you expect a debate moderator to do?

Chris Wallace was fine. The problem is Trump is going to steamroll any moderator. We can have progressive moderator the next debate and that person will get steamrolled by Trump the same way Wallace was. The only way to stop it is to give moderators the power to cut off his mike.

I will not entirely VILLIFY Wallace because I don't think anyone, in any organization, thought Dump was going to come out like a pure poo-flinging orangutan. But, you plan for the worst case scenario. That means they should have had *some* planning for how to regain control. They failed. Wallace failed.

I enjoyed a few moments of Wallace hitting back at Dump, but that is not the same as regaining control or making a credible attempt at it. He got run over, and he should be drinking and thinking over not only an apology to viewers, but how he's going to deal with the aftermath including suggestions to the next organizers based on what was actually agreed to and what happened behind the scenes going into the debacle.

That was for shit.

Imagine your job is to stack fruit. Every time you start stacking, some asshole comes along and knocks it over. You do little except to say please don't do that. Then you stack more fruit and he knocks it over, again and again. Are you doing your job or not? If you aren't sure, got back to the first sentence in this paragraph.

truth and forcefulness.

Really.

I saw gishgallup and spewing of bullshit without any facts backing up his silly allegations, but some will see strength.

There's a guy on CNN saying the Proud Boys are celebrating online tonight saying they have the go-ahead from Trump.

Feeding us Republican spin/questions or allowing Trump to control the debate? Biden could not get a word out for most of the debate.

he tried to placate. He was rolled over, and I don't even think he could have cut that monster off even if he wished to.

So NO... I do not think he should be appreciated. I even doubt he should be pitied.
