But, I kinda wish he wouldn't grin so much when Trump lies or says something inane. I would prefer a scowl or look of disgust - I believe that would get the message across more effectively. IOWs, Trump isn't merely laughable, he is contemptible.

Ryan was trying to hold up his end in the VP debate but Joe just chuckled at a few of his comments. Because they literally were laughable.

Trump was trying to goad Biden into losing his temper by flying in his face and coming on in his typical insulting playground bully mode. Biden had to respond strongly while maintaining control, and I believe he pulled it off and appeared far more presidential. Trump lowered the bar for conduct right at the onset, and the moderator failed to maintain control...

In watching the clips his face looks a bit gaunt. That can cause someone of that age to look older and less strong.
