and they said that poor little Biden wants to do that because he is losing and lost tonight's debate. Even watching 1 minute was too long. Donna Brazile is the Dem commentator...how does she stand it?

The moderator/network can make the rules. If one participant doesn't like it, they don't have to show up.

Given trump can't seem to respect the norms of debates by being quiet when it isn't his turn, he's destroyed that norm as well. The debate committee or whoever runs it should just lay down the law to anyone participating in presidential debates going forward: when it isn't your turn, your microphone will not be on. Done. It's the only way to deal with his nonsense.

Set a rule. Only one mic on at a time. When allowed speaking time ends, the mic goes silent. If trump won't agree, let Joe appear alone with a free air time question and answer venue.
