What is your lasting impression of the two men?

I still picture Biden for the most part TRYING to remain calm, respectful and serious. I still picture Trump as a raving crackhead and I don't remember hardly anything discussed because it was so chaotic with Trump's antics. So those lasting impressions of their personalities are what are going to linger in folks minds. Biden trying to calm things down just like he will try to calm down the country and bring folks together is really what stands out for me. Trump chaotic and people are tired of the chaos.

Trump bulldozing his festering ass all over everything and Biden trying to be civil but losing it.
Too painful to watch.

Trump fans will cheer that their leader can destroy anyone and prevent any kind of civil discourse.
Doesn't matter what he says, it's the distress he causes in everyone that make him their hero.

Biden doesn't get a chance to inform the public as to who he is and what he expects to do because he's too busy fending off the mountains of shit being lobbed at him.

A waste of time and they will do it two more times for some godforsaken reason.

he kept his cool, except when Trump was rude while Joe talked about Beau. Very clear distinction between level-headed Joe and bonkers Trump.

At the beginning of the debate, they occasionally shot at an angle from the side so that you could see both Trump and Biden in side profile. They only did it a few times but it was stunning the contrast from the outset. Trump in his ill fitting suit looked massively overweight and a mess, and Joe looked incredibly fit and trim in a well fitted suit. It was a subtle but stunning shot and I wonder if they didn't go back to that view precisely because of that contrast.

Versus Joe Biden's smart, clear, direct, caring, thoughtfulness and leadership.
