There is no reason there should be another one of these debacles. This is not a debate. trump is not trying to debate. It will be more of the same. Left wing, Hunter Biden, Antifa, Bernie, Green New Deal. He's not even debating anything Biden says. Not debating the policies Biden has proposed. This is just an insult to the public. This is not how a debate works.

And no one should have to watch any more debates if they don't want to.

BUT I think Biden needs to insist on going on with all the debates, as planned. There's a saying, "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."

Dump obviously HATES the debate format because it forces him to engage with people who don't agree with him and don't kiss his ass. He doesn't handle that well, never has. He gets unhinged. He has meltdowns. He looks like an angry old drunk uncle who tries to start a food fight because someone asked him not to use racial slurs at the dinner table.

Biden had his moments of getting heated too, but he was SO MUCH BETTER at being the responsible adult in the room, and that way of talking directly to the camera to address the American people head on and bypassing Dump's bluster, I thought was VERY effective.

It really was that bad, that disgraceful. I am torn about whether it's worthwhile to have another debate. On the one hand, why give trumps narcissistic bullying any more oxygen? On the other, why let him get away with destroying yet another of our political norms? Make him own it, make him throw his tantrums again so that people can see how idiotic, useless, and unsuited to the presidency he is.
