He looked exceptionally classy. It was nice not to see the expected blue tie & it was an especially good choice contrasted to the Con's tie which was navy blue with red stripes.

He said a break from the stripes or plain ties that all politicians seem to wear would have been refreshing and not as harsh. He said he thought it was how the contrast of the stripes displayed, especially in mid-range shots.

I pointed this out in a different thread but it bears repeating. At the beginning of the debate, the would occasionally pan to a shot from the side that showed both candidates in profile. Biden looked a sharp and put together while Trump looked massive, unkept, and was wearing an ill fitting suit. It was a striking contrast the few times they showed it.
