Trump said EXACTLY what he meant! It seems like people are stopping with the "Stand By" remark, he followed that with "Something needs to be done about Antifa and the Left". So he accomplished exactly what he wanted. Why would he clarify a statement he supports?

Trump didn't condemn white supremacy because he believes in it.

If you asked Biden to condemn renewable energy or marriage equality he wouldn't. I wouldn't be some mistake.

He wouldn't reject the support he was getting from the Klan. Why would he start now?

6. He could have soundly denounced white supremacists and they would have known he was winking

inside. They would laugh that he had to say that and was just playing it to get a few more votes. It wouldn't have cost him one alt white or Quackpot vote. They can try and polish that turd all they want, but we all saw him say Stand BY! I see the proud boys celebrating that too, so it went over just the way most of us would have imagined, and that was the message Trump was sending.

7. So Brian, is it fair to conclude that Trump supports Nazis?

Trump said what he said, and nobody's "clarifying" his remarks. The Nazis are high-fiving each other all over the internet. They understood completely what Trump was saying to them. Continuing to support Trump is to support Nazis. End of sentence.
