I wonder if Trump is beginning to regret ever running for president?

I don't think he had a clue the kind of scrutiny he was opening himself up to. Now he and others of his family will probably end up in behind bars. He could have just stayed low profile and avoided dying in prison. But no, he had to stroke his ego. I'll bet he deeply regrets it now.

Putin wouldn't have had much trouble stroking his ego and manipulating him into it.

Even Trump couldn't imagine the American public would be stupid enough to actually elect him.

He was suppose to just use the campaign to get some free publicity for his ailing businesses likely lock down some deals and some new investors. Throw in the bonus of booking everything through Trump properties and companies means he would profit off the campaign. Then Clinton would win and he would be back to his sleazy conman empire ... except the idiots actually voted him into office.

and the usual grifting without law enforcement paying any attention to him, but his ego got the best of him. And so did President Obama.

He could exit his building, get in a cab or limo, go out to a nice restaurant and maybe a show. He'll never be able to do that again.

Attention is good.

The money is flowing.

Legal cases never have any real consequences. So far all he’s had to do is give up one charity scam and pay some relatively small fine for a scam school. Normal people sweat that stuff. I think he enjoys it.

How many years would it be before he ever saw a jail cell? Life is too short to worry about what might happen a few years from now. The game is fun.

I don’t think he thinks like or feels like or is motivated by anything like a normal person.
