Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI have a feeling that "undecideds" are desperate to vote for Trump
but he just embarrasses them. Based on the undecideds I have seen interviewed after the debate.
Because at this point, how can you be undecided?

(25,464 posts)The polls are showing that the real undecideds are leaning overwhelmingly to Biden. Most of them haven't been undecided for a while now and the shift is pretty clear.

(24,149 posts)To put them in perspective, I think of being on an airplane. The flight attendant comes down the aisle with her food cart and, eventually, parks it beside my seat. "Can I interest you in the chicken?" she asks. "Or would you prefer the platter of shit with bits of broken glass in it? To be undecided in this election is to pause for a moment and then ask how the chicken is cooked.
Sorry if you've heard that so many times you're sick of it.

(2,970 posts)They don't want to say they are voting for Trump, so they claim they're "Undecided".
Claustrum
(4,845 posts)They are undecided in the sense that they are undecided on whether to vote for Trump or stay home. We just thought undecided as in they can't decided between the two candidates. For a lot of them, Biden was never a choice.

(2,970 posts)Undecided- Vote Trump or stay home
Undecided- Definitely voting Trump but too embarrassed/ashamed to say so
Undecided- Braindead and really undecided

(292 posts)...felt like it's a strange inconsistency to be amped up enough about the election to want to be on a discussion panel on TV and yet at the same time be undecided about who you support. I don't know. Just seems weird to me.

(6,477 posts)They vote in Presidential elections, mostly because their parents raised them to, but they don't pay much attention, have other hobbies, have a sense of "they both suck" cool, or are just generally not that interested.
It's OK not to be interested in things.
All these attacks on undecided voters is silly, to be honest. Make your case for that audience. That's it.
