After a rocky week of public sniping between
Keith Olbermann and the management of Current,
Olbermann will anchor on election nights
beginning after the New Hampshire primary
Tuesday. "I am pleased that I'll be running the
election coverage on Current, following this
Tuesday's New Hampshire primary," Olbermann said
in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter Sunday.
"However, I don't think those participating in
the New Hampshire primary will share my
satisfaction."
TheWrap.com / Media Alley: "Keith
has indicated that he will do upcoming special
election coverage," a Current TV spokesperson
told TheWrap. "We certainly hope that he does.
We're looking forward to it." This ends more
than one week of rumors and reports about the
former MSNBC and ESPN host's future at the small
but growing network. His lawyer, Patricia
Glaser, previously confirmed that Olbermann's
team and the network were having conversations
about his "rights," and sources on both sides
confirmed that there were differences of opinion
over his involvement in election coverage.

My cable company said they might carry Current last year, but they don't seem to care much now.

Hope yours picks up Current in time for election season.
I'd love to see Keith in action as well...

At least they're talking about him, I suppose, which is better than if they completely ignored him.
Like my dad says, "They say Obama's name so often, even if it's not good, they give him more coverage than he could pay for. They're just helping him get elected by saying his name all the time." My dad cracks me up.
