Regeneron, an experimental drug which @POTUS took, relied on human embryonic stem cells. I support this research. I wonder if @realDonaldTrump and Amy Coney Barrett support this research?

We know Trump doesn't really give a shit about pro lifers. he'd do anything to keep himself alive.

(5,255 posts)5. Well, Rep. Lieu, they do . . . .
. . . if it's for them. Anti-choice Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-TN) is still in Congress after arranging for three abortions for women he got pregnant. The W. Bush campaign, which like all good GOPers demonizes the hated "trial lawyers," assembled an army of them to fight Florida counting its citizens' votes in 2000. There are maaaaaaaaany other examples of the IOKIYAR principle, but these two spring to mind.
So: yes! Of course!
(Ted Lieu is a treasure, by the way.)

If you're going to say something like this as a congressperson, you should probably be a bit more precise.
Just sayin'

(21,858 posts)10. You are correct. He took an antibody cocktail made by Regeneron...
President Trump received a high dose of an experimental antibody cocktail from Regeneron as part of his Covid-19 treatment. Now the drugmaker's stock is up sharply -- and questions are swirling about the president's ties to Regeneron's billionaire CEO.
