In the 21 previous presidential elections since 1936, there have only been five challengers who led at this time. Of those five, only one (Bill Clinton in 1992) was ahead by more than 5 points. None of those five were earning more than 48% of the vote in the polls.
In other words, Biden is the first challenger to be above 50% at this late juncture in the campaign.

7. Not according to Ari on MSNBC--what IS is with this guy?

Someone posted about a recent Ari Melber segment where he was claiming Joe Biden was polling no better than Hillary was at this point and how it’s still “very much anybody’s race”. I didn’t watch the segment until yesterday while on my daily walk. When I did I was like “what the f*?”

I don’t remember Ari being this fact deluded before. Then the thought occurred to me that maybe his ratings aren’t that great so he’s trying to pump them up by being controversial. Confusing presenting a lesser held view with being all hard hitting journal-y.

No one is taking this race for granted and no one thinks Joe has it “in the bag”. The huge turnout in early voting proves that...no one wants another 2016 But to claim it’s almost an even race??? And that Joe is doing “no better than Hillary”. That’s simply not factual. There has been a massive shift in women voters, military voters, and even seniors!

Sorry for going off on a tangent there! Annoyed the hell out of me I guess (Ari). I won’t be watching his show.
