41. Yes. This. It has been the pubbie 'modus operandi' for years!!!
Starting, in recent years, with the years long "Whitewater" farce.
How much time, effort and millions did they throw away in the Obama years trying to throw dirt on Hilary? (Along with Obama and others in that admin.) How many hearings, investigations and whatever did they so publicly promote to end up with squat? (Though dump is still trying!!) They knew damned well that they had nothing, but they used the power of their offices to throw shade and dirty up, later candidate, Clinton. Ultimately, in some fashion, they were successful, and were able to poison the public sphere enough lies, suspicion, innuendo and smears to ultimately doom her candidacy. (Or make it close enough to steal.) And she's certainly not the only victim of their banality of evil. They've attempted the same game with Biden, but so far, one hopes, they haven't gotten the traction to get the result they are looking for. Mostly because the guy they're looking to prop up is such an unctuous, nauseating, self-serving troll - that that hill is, hopefully, insurmountable. These types of political operatives and their 'gotcha' mode of operation need to be totally removed and wiped clean from our government. They've done absolutely nothing for the the people they are supposed to represent, other than the their monied sponsors. |

12. Rudy gathered the preliminary "evidence" for Dear Fascist Leader.
That Rudy File was found to be bucket of dog shit. Dear Leader then had his Roy Cohn give it the once, twice, three times over hoping to find some raw meat against the Bidens. Still nothing. Now that they squeezed every breath and bit of life from the nothing case. They remain stuck with only a bucket of Rudy dog shit that stinks worse than Rudy and nothing else.
They promised to deliver,... but being full of shit is all they can come up with. The history of Donald J. trDump. |

31. Billy barr and trDump have both promised the Durham Report to produce irrefutable evidence that
Both Obama/Biden should both be arrested and jailed for treason. Of course the Durham Report was originally based on "evidence" Rudy pulled out of his ass about Ukraine. Rudy's intent was to smear Biden for the October surprise to knock Biden out of contention for the 2020 trDump vs Biden national election.
As usual this trDump scheme run by Rudy and billy barr too flopped and crashed. |

16. No it's not.
Durham is still working on his.
Before Bash’s appointment, Kupec had said that a different federal prosecutor, John Durham in Connecticut, also had been looking at unmasking as part of his broader investigation into the FBI’s 2016 probe of whether the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia to influence the election. It was not clear how Durham’s and Bash’s work intersected. Barr recently told some Republican lawmakers that no report of Durham’s investigation would be released before the November election, though unlike Bash’s review, Durham’s work seems to be ongoing, people familiar with the matter said. Trump has in recent days called the delay in the Durham case “a disgrace,” and asserted that his 2016 Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, should be jailed. He was previously critical of another prosecutor specially tapped by then-Attorney General Sessions to investigate matters related to Clinton, but whose case ended with no public report or allegations of wrongdoing. Barr had said previously he would not hold back Durham’s findings because of concerns about any impact on the election, as investigators were not focused on political candidates. |

34. The Durham Report was promised for release before the election,...
... now Barr says the release will be after the election. Guess what the Durham Report is dead in the,water. It is not going to produce the catastrophic results to the Obamsa admin. trDump ranted, raved, and promised.This was originally Rudy's October Surprise, then handed to Barr, then handed to Durham. Problem is the evidence is based on shit Rudy pulled from his ass.
~~~~~~~~~~ Is the Durham October Surprise Fizzling? Conflicting reports indicate that there might be dissension in the ranks of those conducting the investigation. by Nancy LeTourneau September 30, 2020 As we head into the last month of the election season, we approach the time when political analysts expect a so-called “October surprise.” One possibility that has been bandied about stems from Attorney General William Barr’s assertion that he won’t wait until after the election to release the findings of U.S. Attorney John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia probe. But recent events are sending mixed messages about the status of the investigation that began in May 2019. Durham interviewed former CIA Director John Brennan – August 22, 2020 According to multiple news reports, the Durham investigation has focused on a claim that Brennan politicized the intelligence that eventually led the FBI to launch a probe into possible coordination between Moscow and the Trump campaign during the 2016 election. That puts the former head of the CIA at the heart of Durham’s investigation. According to Brennan’s spokesperson, Nick Shapiro, the former CIA director was interviewed by Durham for eight hours last month. Shapiro also stated that, while “Brennan expressed appreciation for the professional manner in which Mr. Durham and his team conducted the interview,” he “also told Mr. Durham that the repeated efforts of Donald Trump and William Barr to politicize Mr. Durham’s work have been appalling and have tarnished the independence and integrity of the Department of Justice.” https://washingtonmonthly.com/2020/09/30/is-the-durham-october-surprise-fizzling/ |
20. Again?
Three weeks until the election. Can they investigate this one or two more times before then? Something inconclusive that will cause the New York Times to billboard it on the front page on October 29 and it can be Topic A on the weekend news shows.
Although with all this early voting, it may be too late already for the Trump administration and the national media dupes to create something out of nothing. |
21. These investigations were never going to turn up any dirt, but by harping on them the GOP
hope to get some fools thinking that with all that smoke there must be fire. That's how they got so many people to believe that Hillary was evil and corrupt--they investigated the he'll out of every breath she took!I
Even slapping the label "Obamagate" on the ridiculous claim that there is an "Obama spied on me" scandal is an attempt to get some slime to stick to him and his administration. Remember how Lyndon Johnson once told someone that they needed to put out a story that his opponent f**ks pigs. When the person responded that the story wasn't true, Johnson said he knew that, but he wanted to see all the headlines saying the opponent denies f**king pigs. |
26. That depends on whether they let him know
If Fox or OANN don't report it (quite likely), then he may never find out. They've got no incentive to tell him (unless maybe Miller does, for internal politicking purposes - make Barr look weak). They could hide it in a written briefing where he'll never see it, and cover their asses that way.
