The first day of early voting in Colorado saw a 2377% increase in turnout compared to 2016.Link to tweet ?s=21 I have no doubt this is a wave election. People do not vote like this for incumbents

1. That's kinda silly. There was no pandemic in 2016 There are other indicators things are going
our way tho.

3. Given we are a all mailed ballot state, it really is signficant that voters are returning so quickly

2. Proud of my fellow Coloradoans. Mine was hand delivered to the voting office offical drop box Sunday
and I've already been able to verify it has been processed and validated (counting won't start until 15 days prior to the election, so a couple of days now)

4. In 2016...
In 2016, Colorado had the 3rd largest voter turnout in the nation, due in part to how easy the state makes it to vote. We have dropboxes EVERYWHERE and you can get texts or emails that track your ballot every step of the way. We really trust our system of voting so I truly believe that they only reason people are dropping off their ballots this early is enthusiasm. My husband and I dropped ours off on Sunday because we could not WAIT to vote for Biden and against the current occupant of the White House. It's very exciting!
